Lupe Memorial Watercolor

I worked up a watercolor rendering of Lupe from one of my favorite photographs of her. It captures everything I loved about her, especially the inquisitiveness in her eyes.

The photograph has been printed on Canson ARCHES BFK Rives pure white paper, a photo paper that has a wonderful matte finish and truly emphasizes the watercolor aspect of the image. It came out beautifully! In the ensuing days, the photo will be mounted in acid-free matte board and framed. The matte board is a glove white and very handsome, but I haven’t decided on a frame style. If you have a suggestion, please share it.
