Baltimore National Cemetery No1

Baltimore National Cemetery No1

This is the first in a short series of photographs from my recent trip to the Baltimore National Cemetery for veterans of the wars. During the capture and editing of this photograph, we learned of the killing of Renee Good in Minneapolis during a confrontation with ICE agents. This photograph is in memory of Ms. Good and others who have lost their lives in causes they believe in.

I can’t help but hear this line from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young — “What if you knew her and/ Found her dead on the ground/ How can you run when you know”
