Slogging on the Alberton Road Trail

Alberton Road used to carry vehicles along the Patapsco River, but, since hurricane Agnes laid waste to much of the Patapsco River valley, these days it's a hiking trail of approx. 3-4 miles and part of the Patapsco State Park. I hadn't been there in several years, and decided today would be a good day to go exploring. We had several heavy downpours two nights ago, leaving the trail wet and muddy, and the air heavy with humidity. Perfect photography weather!
