Leptotes bicolor

Leptotes bicolor, color

Leptotes bicolor

This Leptotes bicolor just continues to deliver flowers! As I blogged a few posts previously, it started blooming in early March, and has since developed two clusters of 5 flowers each. It is definitely my favorite minature orchid.

This image was taken with a Canon 100 mm f2.8 macro lens on a 7D. The main light was produced by a Yongnuo speedlite with diffuser. Two Yongnuo LED studio lights with color filters were used to produce the background.

I think this picture is a nice way of getting into spring, as our weather is finally (I hope) warming up, even if there's a chance of snow in a few days.

Enjoy the picture, and please feel free to leave your thoughts.

Best wishes,
